Mike "Sleepy" Norman responded to a work call to Vietnam-era veteran Mr. D. Woodson's home in August of 2021. Over the course of the day, Mr. Woodson told Sleepy about his trees: they had damage from the previous winters storms and although there were only a few of them, they created a safety concern. He told Sleepy that he had called many vendors and had been given high quotes to have the limbs trimmed.
In true "Vets Helping Vets" fashion, Sleepy brought the concern to CVMA® 23-25 and on August 14, 2021 a handful of volunteers were able to bring their pole saws to assist Mr. Woodson in his need.
